Tell me about CORGI HomePlan….

Since 2011 we’ve been providing boiler, central heating, plumbing, drains and electric cover to our customers and we’re  not done yet! With 150,000 customers - and growing – we’re here to challenge the status quo (the big 6) and provide better quality and pricing of home plan cover to consumers across the UK.

Where will I be working…. and what will I be doing?

CORGI HomePlan is based at Masterton Park, Dunfermline and we are looking for motivated individuals to join our team of Sales Advisors.  

We believe in the power of people. Whatever your job role in CORGI HomePlan, we help and support each other to fulfil our ambitions and success.  From our open plan office to our open door policy we collaborate together to make sure we are putting the customer first.

The types of Sales activities you will perform are:

  • Manage inbound calls from potential customers responding to direct mail and other marketing media channels.

  • Generate business from existing customer base through outbound calls to identify opportunities to sell CHP products.

  • Evaluate information in order to qualify and sell to customer needs.

  • When the needs of the business require you would be expected to support colleagues in other departments.

  • Compliance with standard operating procedures and policy.

  • Identify potential improvements in operational processes and recommend change.


Do I have what it takes?

Customers will soon forget what you said, but they won’t forget how they feel. That’s why we want people passionate about helping people, even in the toughest of situations. You are not required to have technical knowledge, as we will provide full training on these topics but you will need:

  • To have a passion for customers and providing great customer service

  • Be a great communicator - clear and confident

  • Work well under pressure - it can be fast  paced at times so you’ll need to be able to keep focused and positive

  • Be a real team player through being reliable, responsible and dependable

  • Show initiative and have a willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges

  • To be a naturally curious person that seeks to understand situations and provide solutions

Salary: We are a living wage employer. The starting salary is c£18,200 for full time employment, and pro-rated for part timers, and increased once you have passed your probationary period.  Our people can earn an average commission and bonus of £2,500 per annum, while our top performers can earn an additional £7,000 on top of their annual salary.

Hours: 40 hours per week over 7 days with variable shift patterns within the hours of Monday-Friday 8 am until 8 pm; Saturday varied shifts between 8 am until 5.30 pm.  During seasonal campaigns a Sunday shift will be required.  We also welcome applications from part-time candidates.

Training:  Full training is provided during your induction period. Continued development and training is both provided and encouraged on an ongoing basis.
