1. What is CORGI HomePlan Gap Cover?
CORGI licensed the Gas industry for almost 40 years and today still provide the
industry and consumers with invaluable services. Our Gap Plan is designed to fill
the void in maintenance cover in your home when you install a new boiler, compared to
relying on a simple boiler warranty. Our Gap Plan then goes further by covering
your home electrics and your home plumbing systems as well as providing an annual
boiler service.
2. Is my Boiler Manufacturers Warranty not enough?
No, whether you have a 1 year or a 5 year warranty, cover is restricted to the inside
of the boiler only. Costs can still include, gas leak £150, new radiator £230, radiator leak
£65, motorized valve £230, new pump £175, new cylinder £550, header tank £170,
existing central heating pipe leaks £90, cylinder or room stats £98, new fuse board
£550, new double socket £90, typical plumbing repair £150, overflow repair £90.
We currently do thousands of these repairs every month for people like you, so don't
be caught out by having the hassle of finding suitable trades people to action your
repairs and up to £200 for an out of hours call out. Most Home Insurance insurance policies do not
cover these costs either.
3. Why is CORGI HomePlan Gap Cover so special?
Because you get THREE maintenance plans for the price of one, very handy in light
of recent winters! Everything mentioned in the paragraph above is covered as well
as full cover for your entire central heating system including an annual service and
all with unlimited call outs! Then we'll give you full cover on your home electrics and
your home plumbing systems with unlimited call outs as well. This eliminates any
doubt about what's covered, who covers it, if they're available etc etc. We're on call
24 hours a day to remedy any emergencies you have.†
4. How much is CORGI HomePlan Gap Cover?
CORGI HomePlan Gap Cover costs £7.99 per month for the first year which includes a boiler service at the end of the year, and then a low
cost £16.99 per month thereafter.† There is no contract and we'll even hold our
prices for 2 years. We can also ensure your chosen Installer undertakes your repairs
and servicing and you'll also benefit from our extended Netwtork which is on hand 24
hours a day, 7 days a week for any emergencies you have.
5. How much will I save going forward?
The equivalent level of cover from our competitors is approximately £27
per month, so we could save you on up to £10 per month for the lifespan of your
boiler - approximately £2000! Without doubt the highest level of cover available in

6. I already have a boiler warranty - will I not be paying twice for the same cover?
No - as described above, the inside of a boiler makes up a fraction of what should be
covered in your home. We have financially tailored Gap Cover to ensure the sums add
up now - and in the future. Remember our plan is not available to older boilers. Why
should you be subsidising old and unreliable boilers presently on cover throughout
the UK.
7. What if my present supplier is offering me 1 or 2 years free maintenance cover
with my Boiler Installation?
The cost of your "free maintenance cover" will probably have been added to the
price of your new boiler. Then after this "free" cover you'll be paying on average £27
per month to maintain this cover. With Gap Cover you can chose a registered CORGI Gap Installer knowing you'll
have the quality and price to match. Then Gap Cover will bring you complete peace of mind for your entire home

8. Why should I sign up now for CORGI HomePlan Gap Cover?
If you sign up online, you'll be eligible for our Free Boiler Replacement Guarantee.
Simply put, although we will cover your boiler for life, for the first 12 years, yes 12
years, if we cannot repair your boiler - we will replace it free of charge. This offer
includes everything - boiler - labour and materials etc. To qualify for Gap Cover, all
we ask is that you sign up within 14 days of your new boiler being installed. Please
note we do not cover drains.
9. What are the response times of CORGI HomePlan Gap Cover?
If you have a breakdown, our Gas Safe Registered engineer will normally arrive on the
same day or within 24 hours - even in the depths of winter. For gas and uncontrolled
water leaks we will aim to arrive within 2 hours. At all times you'll have a
personal claims handler
